Close look of her hands  holding the birds.

Lady of the Birds is an exclusive doll of my own creation. It started from scratch and came from just a bottle of porcelain fluid. This Doll was practically born in my hands, like a person.
Her clothes came are made of crochet and dipped into porcelain fluid, then sculpt, and fired at 2200 degrees F for 24 hours. The cool down time was three days.
This “Lady of the Birds” was awarded four prizes: Peoples choice, First Place Nevada Ceramic Association, Best Of The Group.
A week after the prizes the Portuguese Club organized a Ceremony with music and dance.
The party took place at the California Casino where I received another prize. In the end I sold the doll to the Director of California Casino in Las Vegas.
